About Essex Junction Fire

We operate with 45 members, out of one station and protect 4.6 square miles, which is primarily a residential area. Our department is a public department with paid on-call members. We provide fire protection and first response EMS service to the residents of Essex Junction. The department operates with two engines (one equipped with extrication equipment), a 75-foot ladder/pumper and a Utility Truck. The department responds with automatic mutual aid for Essex Fire with additional assistance provided by Williston, Colchester & Winooski Fire.
